COURSE TITLE: Practical advice for coordination and continuous improvement of wetland projects

INSTRUCTORS Lorene Lynn
Matt Schweisberg

COURSE DESCRIPTION SWS asks that all speakers sign a Best Practices Agreement that outlines the logistics of the webinar, ethical guidelines, and tips on how to speak "in front of" a virtual audience. Credit Points: 0.06

SYLLABUS/TOPICAL OUTLINE This webinar discusses the subject of wetland restoration from the perspectives of the individual who reviews the proposed project and the project manager. In this presentation, the former provides guidance in recognizing the vital components of a restoration plan when reviewing for completeness. This is given in a framework that includes wetland structure and function, spatial and temporal location, and goods and services. The project manager also provides an introduction the workings of a successful restoration project, but also defines the supervisory skills necessary in following-through. This segment of the webinar is given in the exciting context of tundra rehabilitation in Alaska's oilfields.
